I am a mother, wife, teacher and musician, not always in that order as I struggle with workaholism! I love teaching; it's my vocation and I am passionate about opening children's eyes to music. I am a violinist and pianist but teach secondary class music. I am learning a bit of bass guitar and beat-boxing.

My second love is reading and writing. I think the English language is beautiful and powerful. I have had some articles published but my ambition is to write and illustrate a children's book. I think it might have to wait until I'm retired...

My family is really important to me and I am currently on maternity leave after the birth of my 3rd son.
